How can you help SHUA

There are several easy ways to donate. As a UK registered charity, we are able to claim back Gift Aid on your donation if you wish us to do so. Find out more and download a Gift Aid form.

Donate securely using your debit/credit card. SHUA uses PayPal to process donations. Click on the icon below to make a donation to SHUA.

Whether you want to do a car-boot sale, fun-run, or shave your head for charity, it's up to you! 100% of all proceeds donated to SHUA will go directly to benefitting the cats. Oh, and you will also get your name in lights on this website!

• Good quality clothes, toys, books, games, videos/DVDs + bric-a-brac for our charity shop (at 107 High Street, Barry, Cardiff).
• Towels & soft bedding, blankets etc. to be used at SHUA.
• Any material not good enough to be sold on or used at SHUA will be recycled for rags
• Animal foods – tins, dried food etc.
• Cat litter
• Building, painting & plumbing materials.
• Cleaning materials; washing up liquid, disinfectant, rubber globes, black sacks, dustbins, dustpan & brushes, mops/buckets, gardening equipment/materials.
• Baby play pens, toddler play tunnels etc. as toys for kittens
• Aluminium cans, takeaway cartons etc. for recycling

A number of people have recently started donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of items on eBay and donating them directly to SHUA. This is fantastic, because we can also claim Gift Aid on the donation increasing it by a whopping 28%!!

If you have some spare 'stuff' lying around that you don't want anymore, why not stick it on eBay, make a few bob and help the kitties at SHUA in the process? Everyone's a winner!!
