Kitkat was a little stray who managed to befriend some students. They started feeding her but contacted SHUA for help when they could no longer care for her. They would not put Kitkat on the waiting list at Brincethin Cats Protection, meaning that if we hadn't taken her in, she would have been locked out and left to fend for herself.

Kitkat was a very friendly, sweet girl and she lived happily at SHUA for several years. Sadly, she developed a painful mouth condition called stomatitis, making it very difficult for her to eat. She was the first cat that we saw this condition with and we tried everything - from conventional medicine to alternative therapies to blending her food. Kitkat was euthanased on the 25th of November 2004 and will be missed by us all.
